Room 19 travelled to the future which was quite scary thinking about what St Francis Xavier School might look like in years to come.

Room 16 travelled to the Ancient Mayans in the rainforests of Central America. They even managed to catch a Pikachu there!!
Room 20 travelled to the 1960's where everything was "alright man" peace and love to all. Thank goodness for Flower Power!!!
Room 1 travelled to Ancient Egypt where Cleopatra was played by Mystica who was very convincing as a spoilt indulged Queen.
Room 13 travelled to Ancient Rome where we met Caesar and Cleopatra. Michael Robinson did an excellent job at portraying Caesar.
The Senior School performed a production called "Uncle Crumbles Mad Machine" It was about 4 children who travelled through time and met some very famous and interesting characters from different civilisations. Room 10's theme was [...]
Our children love the concept of tuakana/ teina where our Year 5/6 classes organise tabloid sports for the younger children in their whanau to participate in.
All classes have been involved in hockey skill sessions this term with coaches from Northland Hockey. The children enjoy these sessions immensely.
We had a visit from players from the Blues Rugby Team. Our Year 5 and 6 children then played games of Ripper Rugby with the Blues players refereeing and organising the games.
It was Catholic Schools Day on Monday. Our school celebrated by being involved in many interesting activities. We started with a Mass in the morning. After play classes were involved with art and craft activities. [...]
